I'd have to find it but I recall 1Sun actually being upset we passed on a different 6'5" PF. I don't feel like searching through his post history much but I'll take a look. He said something along the lines of how it'd be a vast improvement over Jalen Smith and Sarver being cheap. All his posts contain that so it's impossible to search for that.

Edit - I FOUND IT!

Here's a link to Mainstreet's post about a 6'5" PF being waived by Utah and I made a remark about wanting him just to see 1Sun's reaction. Steve then did a great 1Sun impersonation and then 1Sun had a nice flip flop post himself starting off with saying he wasn't interested and then flipping to how every other team is doing something and the only reason we won't add that player is because Sarver doesn't care.

Its worth reading in its entirety. Starts at post #329 and continues for about a dozen posts, with his post #335 and he tries justifying a signing like it in his next few posts on that page.

The irony is not lost on me the Suns did sign a 6'5" player in Wainright even if it is a two-way contract.

I was minimally hoping the Suns would sign Kyle Alexander to a two-way contract although I will defer to the judgement of James Jones in the matter.
