Missed free throws and missed lay-ins were the Suns downfall.
Well if we don't miss 10 free throws we might have won as well.
Harden shot 8-27, and 3-17 from 3land. Ouch.
Yeah, but the rotations are totally under montys control.
Ty Jerome sucks. He does not deserve the minutes he is getting.
Suns need a center that can finish up misses and score inside.
Oubre, Bridges and Cam Johnson are solid at small forward.
I mean we’re kinda thin at both positions so it is what it is
Primarily, Booker missing 5 out of 16 and Oubre missing 3 out of 7.
That's 8 out of 23 free throws missed from our Wings (top 2 scorers).
Uncharacteristically, missing free throws can be attributed to weariness.
Otherwise, the Suns played a good game against a tough team. But it
looked like they were playing down to our level. Pacing themselves?
played an upper echelon playoff team tough majorly shorthanded. good enough for me as long as they come out and win 2 of the next 3 at home.
He's trying to play Jerome into shape. I suspect it will pay off later in the season as he should be much more comfortable by then.
Tonight illustrated just how bad draft night was. Saric didn't contribute much, and Cam Johnson and Ty Jerome were flat-out awful.
Still don't know that I trust James Jones as GM. The next big move will say a lot, in my opinion. If, for example, he gives up anything of value for Kevin Love (as if we're not already way too unathletic)...
I’ve tried to give Jerome the benefit of the doubt, but my god his foot speed is just so slow. His arms look really short too. I’m not sold on him. He’s a good shooter though it seems. Maybe that’s why he’s out there.
Yeah despite it all I like the fight the suns had in them.
If there’s one player in the NBA who deserves a titty twister, it’s James Harden
I am not a believer in Jerome, his complete lack of athleticism looks like to big of a deficit to overcome at the nba level to me.
just press him and you will get turnovers consistently.
