Suns @ Pelicans Tuesday game thread 1-4-2022

The Suns wrap up their three game road trip at the Pelicans on Tuesday.

Afterwards they come home to play the Clippers on Thursday and the Heat on Saturday.

Pelicans are 13-23 and play the Jazz on Monday. Presently they are 6-4 in their last ten games.

Suns are 28-8 and 7-3 in their last ten games. Hopefully the win over the Hornets has energized the team.

The game will be televised on Bally Sports Arizona.

Start time is scheduled for 6 p.m. Arizona time.

Jonas Valanciunas and Brandon Ingram played last night for the Pelicans in loss to Jazz.

Valanciunas will especially be a challenge inside for the Suns.

Stix will need help from Bismack guarding Jonas Valanciunas.

I doubt they play Stix and Biz at the same time because they will need to back each other up at center.

I do worry that Stix could get in early foul trouble if he is not careful. Jonas is a heavyweight.
