Yes, Maluach has added some weight and muscle. I'm anxious to see him play in an NBA game.

Although Khaman is presently more skilled, in the 2025 draft class, I think there will be a tendency to compare him to center Joan Beringer who is an extreme athlete. He was drafted at #17 by the Timberwolves.

Seeing how Khaman looks physically in that clip is very encouraging. It's almost like he took on the Giannis transformation in a couple of months.
I think where he is now might turn out to be his ideal playing weight, especially if he remains fluid.
Very excited to see his progression. If he pans out it will significantly alter the course of this franchise immediately and for years to come.

Brooks is undersized but his tenacity makes up for that. He reminds me of Jae Crowder but more vocal. I'm interested to see how he does when/if we face a real rough patch. He's going to need to step up into a leadership role as a vet here. I'm so excited for the season even though expectations are so low.

Fair comparison. I think he's more skilled than Crowder, but even more of a tweener and more dirty. Crowder tried to get under the skin of opponents... while Brooks wants to do the same, but in a more dangerous style.

It's hard to root for guys who dive at the knees of the opposition.

Maybe he will grow on me.
