Suns @ Hawks Wednesday game thread 5-5-2021

On Wednesday the Suns wrap up their three game road trip in Atlanta. It's the
second of back-to-back games.

After the Hawks game the Suns return home to play the Knicks on Friday.

Hawks are 36-30 winning their last two games at home against the Bulls and
Trail Blazers.

Suns are now 47-18. They have won their last five games.

The game will be televised on Bally Sports Arizona.

Start time is listed at 5 p.m. Arizona time.

The injury report for the Suns has not yet been submitted.

For the Hawks, Bogdan Bogdanovic is probable.

De'Andre Hunter and Cam Reddish are out.

Definitely cannot afford to rest cp3, or anyone as long as 1st place is in reach.

If I understand correctly the #1 seed gets Home Court, plays the team with the worst record in the playoffs, after that team has played two tough elimination games. That seems like a huge advantage.

It would take a significant collapse for the #1 seed to get bounced in the first round.
They can rest while the play in teams are battling.....

Also, would be nice to have Crowder back ASAP!

I fear Capella makes Ayton his bitch tonight, goes off for like 25/15. Hopefully going against a good team and good Center wakes him out of the shell he’s slunk back into the last five or six games.

Capella doesnt really have the mass/size to make ayton his beach. BUT its ayton we are talking about, which guy shows up today? I think if Ayton can handle Bam, then he can handle Capella. I see Bam as a better version of Capella.

My worry is Trae, if he's feeling it or not.

I'm having the same thoughts too. His experience is really important. I think they're just taking precautions.

oy. This would really hurt. He brings a wealth of playoff experience with him. We’ve got at least two more weeks before the playoffs. Keep him out until he’s 100%.

This is a good Hawks team. They are ranked 5th in the East in a very tight race for the 4-7 spots.

The Suns will need to bring their A game.
