On Monday the Suns return to play at the Grizzlies after having having three consecutive games postponed.

After the game in Memphis the Suns play at the Rockets on Wednesday before returning to Phoenix for a four game home stand.

Grizzlies are 6-6 on the season and are on a four game winning streak with their last win coming over the 76ers 106-104 on Saturday.

Suns are 7-4 on the season losing three of their last five games.

The game will be televised on FSAZ and TNT.

Deandre Ayton and Frank Kaminsky are the only two big men available for Suns.

JV being out is big. We can play our wings against their bench bigs.

It might be wise to postpone the game as the 76ers just played the Grizzlies.

Suns haven't been able to practice much as a group, just individually.

Suns have been doing a good job of testing.

I want basketball back, but I say we should cancel this game. We didn't do with Washington and should have, and now it's looking like we're going down the same road with Memphis.

You have to wonder if there is pressure to play the games since they are national televised on TNT.

We agree. It feels risky much like the Wizards game. I'd prefer the game be postponed as well.

plus it’s MLK Day
IN MEMPHIS no less

I don’t think the NBA will expose the players to undue risk, but I wonder if they have some tiny discretion in edge cases to yay or nay.

Man, this Covid season is getting super annoying.
So are not being able to visit families and friends, keep stores
open, send kids to school, eat out in restaurants, etc.

As long as people, especially Arizonans (we are the worst in
the nation), continue to fight solving the virus, each year will
be another year of failure to do so.

The new administration will follow the scientists and doctors and
have the
right words, but will the people listen? Soon we will begin
Year #2.

Not until political gridlock is recognized as hazardous to our
health
will we see progress.

That is what is really annoying! Not being able to watch a ballgame
on TV is low on the priority list.

I agree that watching a ball game on TV pales in comparison to all the other things we're doing without but in a way that's made it even more important. Not important enough to jeopardize the health of anyone but pretty important nonetheless. JMO.
