On Thursday, the Suns finish their four game road trip at the Clippers.

Suns are now 16-12 and have lost their last five games.

Clippers are 16-13 after beating the Celtics on Monday. They play the Timberwolves at home on Wednesday.

We’re spending 60 million dollars a year on two role players moving forward.

That’s not good for a team that needs major upgrades.

This team would have had a really bright future if just one of their two lottery picks in a loaded draft in 2020 ended up a star. Instead they got two roles, but still paid them like stars.

Here is the silver lining of losing: it encourages the front office to put coach Williams on the hot seat. (I don't suppose it would be a jerk and fire him while so many players are injured.) Wish Tom Thibodeau were available (he's not).

Getting rid of Monty would be a mistake, IMO. Yes he has his faults but our problems are from a lack of bodies and those bodies we do have just don’t play basketball as well as we’d like.

I think those contracts aren’t bad at all. Especially when the new CBA kicks in and factors streaming and gambling.

I don’t think it’s the contract it’s the fact that both are still inconsistent at this stage. That’s really head scratching to me. I think that speaks more to development. I’ve said before developing and nurturing talent is just as important as talent itself.
