How about just the Western font and leave off the star?

IMO, the orange star diminishes the uniforms.

I get your point but it seems you're after more of a throwback than a new "city edition" jersey. What we are getting is a nice mix of old and new, IMO. I wasn't a big fan until seeing the video with players wearing them. I think they look great and could replace the black "Valley" jersey's from 2020-21 as my favorites. This new one says "Suns" to me more than the black Valley jersey's did.

I'm a big fan of the valley/city court also. The cactus at center court is a nice touch. I really like the throwback with the western font, the star from the 90's All-Star uniforms, and the more recent "Valley" branding. It ties 3 era's of Suns together seamlessly.

I like the numbers on the front, the western font, and even the star, although a Sun would have been more appropriate. Who are we? The Dallas Stars?

I'm probably more old-fashioned and tied to memories than you are. IMO, simpler is generally better.

The court design is fine with me.

Here's some better images, not in a Twitter link. Jerseys are available now through the team shop, online or in person.

If jerseys weren't so ridiculously expensive I might actually grab one. I'll definitely keep my eyes on any merch styled like this for sure.

And then the full jersey with shorts.

I remember those All-Star jerseys from 95 quite well, which is primary influence for those city jerseys. So the nostalgia definitely hits for me but I'm more emotionally linked to those than the western font jerseys pre-Barkley and AWA.

All-Star jerseys....

And the All-Star logo that same year, which I remember being EVERYWHERE that winter in the valley.

And then I remember this being on a regular shirt. Probably a handful kids in each class had them back when I was in grade school. Any given day there'd be 1 kid in each grade wearing 1. School had roughly 140 kids in each grade.

I'm definitely not a fan of the Suns 95 All-Star jerseys.

It makes me want to check my graphics card. I guess it depends on what a person likes.

In other news, some need to look back at history before convincing themselves, and trying to convince others, that there something wrong with Booker.

He's fine and will be improving as they season matches on.

I would say, stats wise he's been fine. His assist game, and defense have been better in my eyes. It is true to the eye test, he's been unable too rise upon on shots like he normally does, and he's seemingly got winded easier. I think that's where some of the "he doesn't look right" concern comes from.

Booker keeps himself busy all off-season so it's no surprise he works himself into game shape during the early season. He seems to suffer a November or December injury and then finds a rhythm around the turn of the calendar.

I'll be worried if he's playing poorly in January or February.

A tale in 2 tweets. I respect Bud's take. He knows publicly calling guys out won't help. He does acknowledge an attitude issue.

That attitude issue is present in Booker's comments. A cushion? A team shouldn't be looking at a cushion in the standings 10 games into the year. You should want every win. If you aren't first there is no cushion and the only cushion is between 1 and 2. The Suns fell below that level. Hopefully this can be worked out of them.

Here is Shams Charania's recent interview with Mat Ishbia.

This is what I'm missing about the current Suns, the joy and camaraderie of playing the game.

If it's there, I'm not seeing it.

The Suns are expected to be active in the trade market per Evan Sidery.

They can't combine salaries to make a trade, which limits their options.

Don't know if there is one available but they should target a PF. We need more size.
