The Golden State Warriors saw their 2024-25 NBA season come to an end against the Minnesota Timberwolves on Wednesday. They could not stay alive long enough to allow Stephen Curry to impact the result of this one.

The Warriors lost a disappointing 121-110 ball game to the Timberwolves at the Target Center. Minnesota built a lead as large as 25 at one point of the contest and Golden State did not have the firepower to keep up.

Steve Kerr and company struggled to create offense in the four games without Curry. The 110 scored in Game 5 tied the highest total that the Warriors had between Games 2 through 5.

The Warriors held the best defensive rating in the league following the All-Star Break, and a top 10 offensive rating as well. The injury to Curry truly prevented everyone from seeing what the true ceiling of this group was.
