We haven’t been dominant against bad teams but we win. I’ll take it.

Javale seemed outta sorts.

Nice game by ish. Give the man credit, he’s come a long way imo.

Big game from Bridges not only scoring but rebounding.

Cam Johnson is growing by leaps and bounds.

Paul monster game with 20, 19, and 8.

And tonight proves how one game +\- is relatively meaningless. We don’t win without bookers more efficient shooting and big 3s at the end but he was -12 tonight.

And my god do shamet and Elfrid just suck at basketball.

If Ish can play anywhere near that level on a consistent basis he will have gone well beyond replacing what we lost with Torrey Craig. He doesn't have Craig's highlight dunking but he has the talent to do everything else as well or better.

Javale has nights where he reminds everyone why he has bounced around so much. He's a great energy player but probably needs a short leash on the nights where he just doesn't have it.

Love Cam.

Maybe Bridges best game this year, and his hand is still clearly bugging him, he aggravated it in some way during the second half and was shaking it a lot. I would not be surprised if he has surgery after the season.

+,- in single games is virtually meaningless. Get stuck on the court for 10 minutes with Elfrid Payton or, god forbid, Michael Beasley, and it will make you look like ass, but I think over long stretches with teams who have fluid rotations and +,- can be very revealing.

Props to Monty for another in game adjustment by going small with Ish at the 5. San Antonio did what Phoenix usually does to other teams, which is torturing drop coverages with mid-range jumpshots, and SA didn't really have anyone to punish the smaller lineup.

Also, that first of the clutch Booker 3's was the same play they ran against Dallas when he had the eventual game-winner almost exactly a year ago, with the lineup being almost the same (only difference was Ish in place of Ayton):

That play reminded me of Booker's incredibly tough shot in Game 5 of the Finals last year to bring us back within either 1 or 2 down the stretch against the Bucks. Man... we were one great play from Holiday away from probably taking the lead late in that game and a 3-2 lead in the series.

I know exactly the play you're talking about...

It's too early for me to watch videos of the 2021 Finals. It leaves a bad taste in my mouth.
