What was the big reveal in this movie? I figured he would become the monster early on so I don't think that was it. I get the end with Willis at the diner counter being the guy from Unbreakable. McAvoy was outstanding playing different personalities btw.

the big reveal was that it was an origin story for a character in a shared Unbreakable Universe. No one knew it was a secret sequel when it came out and somehow, in today's spoiler filled age, that secret was kept super close to the chest.
