I am not sure if this was problem #1 with this team but it is up there.

Short yardage? Absolutely KILLED this team this year.

Red zone offense? Is in line with short yardage, but again, just horrible.

Missing key field goals ALL YEAR LONG does not help either.

In the game of inches we were giving away yards. The offensive system that is being sold as "air raid" seems to be way to easy to stop because it is too predictable and lacks the ability to adapt to what is going on in the game.

Just another thing to throw on the pile.

We were killing it in the red zone first 5-6 games, then the league figured out how to stop Kyler. Agree short yardage we were very weak especially at the goal line. Not having a thumper at RB costs us one maybe two games. Playing for FG cost us not to mention the misses themselves.

we had one of the best red zone Td percentages in the nfl until the 2nd half of the season. I dont know if defenses figured us out or if we just suck.

Great points.

Short yardage and missed FG's are easy to fix.

Red Zone offense was significantly better this year vs last year but still needs improvement. We need those easy plays that are designed for inside the 10 yard line (see Rams, KC, etc). They make it look easy down there. Again, fixable.

Situational football, our 2 minute offense, and our defense were really bad. The 2 minute offense might be the worst I have ever seen.

All that being said, if we had a good defense and a clutch kicker...we would have had 11 wins easily and in the playoffs.

Sounds like a team that does not know how to handle situational football.

And as for "one of the best red zone TD percentages at the beginning of the year" that is great, but when it counted, it seemed like it was about as reliable as Zane Gonzalez.

This is what bothers me so much with Kliff.

He cant make adjustments and adjust to how defenses are adjusting.

Can someone learn that? Can you win a superbowl lacking that coaching trait?

Can't understand where you're coming from as we have the most REVOLUTIONARY offensive mind to ever coach in the NFL...
