Since 1988 I can only remember getting rained on while tailgating once

Against the Giants in 199? and during a Seahawks preseason game 199?
I may be forgetting one or two though.

I was at a Cards-Vikings game in '91 at SDS and it poured all morning up until about an hour or two before KO, after which it was sunny, but only in the mid-to-upper 50s all day. Vikings killed us something like 28-0.

I still lived in the valley then and was still a season ticket holder. Isn't that the game where we blocked a punt and they still ran it for a TD or at least a first down, a long screen pass? Oh and it was even spitting snow at times.

I'd rather be tailgating in the rain than sitting in my house watching the game.

Living out of town and not having season tix anymore really sucks :(

It's a 3 1/2 hour drive from Vegas to PHX

It's a 6 hour drive from LA to PHX

Much easier to make a day trip out there from where you live.

Plus, 13-month old twin daughters make it difficult.

That was the exact score. What an awful weekend of football that was. My friend's father got tickets for the Wildcats-Hurricanes game down in Tuscon for a bunch of us little ***** and we watched them get drilled 38-9 and then drove back up Sunday morning and I took everyone with my Dad's tickets to the Cards-Vikings game to watch us lose 28-0. good times.

Some time around 91-92 there was a Falcons game that had serious rain before and after.

I remember that rainy day at SDS. It was early December 1998. I was annoyed cuz people sitting in the stands had open umbrellas - duh! who opens a big umbrella during a football game?

6 hours either way, that road between Kingman and Phoenix is wicked. Beautiful but wicked.

I make it to Vegas in 5 hours or less all the time. The road between Kingman and Phoenix is 10 times better than in the 60's when I drove it.
