Putting tents up defeats the purpose of outdoor dining
Roads are covered in snow, I don't like driving in snow. It makes me nervous.
I had to get out and shovel the walk at 6am. It faces north and doesn't get sun.
Entire streets in downtown San Diego are closed so that businesses can have tables and some tents outside for their patrons/diners. Eateries all over California (was just in the L.A. area) have tents set up for dining.
With enclosed walls or just coverings from rain/sun?
Not walled on all sides. More open - often without sides at all.
Last weekend we drove to San Diego to surprise a friend of ours who just had eye surgery. As part of his recovery he has to wear an eye patch so we bought three eye patches before we headed over. When we got there he happened to be in the bathroom so his wife let us into the back yard area. He came out looking for her and all three of us were sitting there with eye patches on. LOL It went over really well and lifted his spirits. We had a great time eating BBQ and hanging out. Mexican food the next morning in Imperial Beach before we left.
This past weekend we went to Redlands, CA to go to the Live Oak Canyon Pumpkin Patch. Had an absolute blast. Two hay rides - from the parking lot in the morning and back to it at the end of the night. Games, rides, food, animals, photo ops, magician, a rope trick cowboy, and cloggers. Completely planned this out and surprised my wife. Had some unexpected car trouble on the way back which put us in a motel in time to watch the second half of the Cardinals SNF game (we were able to listen to the first half through the static on the AM dial).
That's good that they are allowing them to expand to the streets then
Not the best time to find out that my car needs new windshield wipers.
Yikes! I always find out after a summer dries mine out and then I get caught in a monsoon rain. Screeeeech..thunk thunk..screeeech..thunk thunk...
Having a donut and coffee
Clocks get set back this weekend.
It feels a lot warmer then 33 degrees this morning
Today is one of those days, minutes feel like hours.
