    Good morning everyone.

It was 118 degrees in Phoenix yesterday. Today it is supposed to be 2 degrees cooler. I'm not believing it.

Anniversary today but we are both working until 3:00. 19 years has flown by, my wife and I were just talking yesterday that we will both be retired prior to our 27th anniversary, that seems like right around the corner relatively speaking.

The other night our neighbor asked if we could take him to the airport today so after we drop him off around 3:30 we are going to one of my favorite places, the Boston Fish Market for dinner. My wife suggested it so I didn't even have to come up with a plan.

Even with that high heat I do miss Arizona. I don't intend to ever move back but the weather has nothing to do with it. The scenery(especially the mountains), the sunsets, the sunny days and the great winters all make it a great place.

Feels so weird to be home today. The past two weekends were fun trips to county fairs for us.

Two weeks ago, wife worked until 3 on Friday and I had the day off from working 4 10's. We left around 3:30 PM and drove to Ely, NV. Then the next day we woke up and drove to the Elmore County Fair in Glenns Ferry, ID. Had fun at the fair despite being two of the four total in attendance wearing masks. We didn't buy anything from merchants or food vendors. Just walked around saw the exhibits and had fun. Then we went to Boise and hit some of our favorite shopping spots. What a difference a county makes. Boise is in Ada county and had much stricter mask requirements, etc. Drove back to Twin Falls, ID for the night. Woke up on Sunday morning, grabbed some Taco John's and hit the road. Got out in Vegas to walk around the Fashion Mall (to get my daily steps in). Got home at almost midnight to get some sleep before work on Monday.

Last weekend, both of us worked on Friday until 3. We left around 3:30 again and drove to Beaver, UT this time. Woke up in the morning and drove the rest of the way to the Sublette County Fair in Big Piney, WY. On our drive through Utah we saw hundreds packing the shoreline of a lake/resort area, tubing down rivers along the road, etc. It was like there was no pandemic going on at all. The county fair in Wyoming was not much different than the one in Idaho a week earlier. Maybe 9 masks total - including ours. The area we were in has had maybe 6-9 cases total and had completely opened back up about a week earlier. Bigger fair and we had friends working/performing there so we stayed longer. Still made no purchases since the merchants and vendors were all unmasked. Went out to dinner and ate outside at the only Mexican food restaurant in Big Piney, WY. Drove back to Evanston. WY for the night. Woke up and drove home on Sunday. Stopped in Provo to go to a comic book shop but should have known - Sunday in Utah = closed. Next time. Made great time and got home around 10 PM.

Approximately 3,900 miles of driving. So many sights along the way. Love our road trips. Have definitely missed this since mid-March. I do love the look on the faces of those who work where we get our oil changed. They're always like "Didn't we just change yours?" LOL

    Bed is almost done.
Harbour Freight had a airless sprayer for 24$, not perfect but turned out a lot better than brush paint.
