Season thread-the road to the playoffs

It's too early to give up on this team. Remember, the last two World Series champs had horrible starts to their seasons.

With Alomar going on the DL, I hope Chad Tracy is called up and we see Brenly experiment with an outfield of Gonzo in left, Bautista in center and tracy in right.

Randy pitches tomorrow so hopefully he can get a winning streak going.

All is not lost for the series. We have our top 2 guys closing this thing out now so I am hopeful for a series win. Certainly hoped Elmer could have pitched the sweep but BB left him in longer than any of us expect him to go. By the time the switch was made (as we all know) the damage was done.

If everyone on the planet knows Elmer is good for 5 innings and that is it, why on earth does BB leave him in beyond that? BB had gotten 5 good innings out of him and then SPLAT!!!

I get home turn the game on and a ground ball goes by Shea. He definitely is not Brooks Robinson. RJ looks good so far but the offense has to come thru.

Kata has been the key. What was Brenly thinking of sitting him, especially after spring training? He rarely used him. Could of had him playing third for a few days, then second and then short.

I wonder if Tracy will get a shot? These young guys have too much talent to let them sit on the bench. Loyalty can only go so far. Brenly needs to play the best players or else he'll be walking on the unemployment line.
