Sappieness in movies

Sappy movies -

I hate it when you have a movie going along & then some kid enters the scene & the kid is the hero...

Some movies come to mind:

Terminator 2 - ok, but Furlong was way too wise for his age
Waterworld - the kid should've been booted off the raft & taught to swim with da fishes
Last Action Hero that damn Dutch boy haircut kid drove me nuts - ruined the movie for me
Star Wars: Episode I - The Phantom Menace I just wanted to punch that darn Annaken in the kisser

However, here some movies the kids were pretty good

The Professional Natalie Portman did a great job as Matilda
