As awards continue to get handed out during the 2025 NBA playoffs, the Oklahoma City Thunder brought home its first of at least two trophies. The NBA announced on Tuesday that Sam Presti won the 2024-25 Executive of the Year award.

Despite being one of the best general managers for nearly two decades, this is the first time Presti has won the honor. He finished with 74 voting points. For comparison, Koby Altman was in second place with 58 voting points.

This Executive of the Year is a cumulative award. After he carved out a star-studded Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Chet Holmgren and Jalen Williams trio, the Isaiah Hartenstein and Alex Caruso additions from this past offseason were seen as home-run hits.

The Thunder turned in one of the greatest regular-season campaigns ever with a 68-14 record and an all-time best plus-12.9 point differential. Even though they're down 0-1 in their Round 2 series against the Denver Nuggets, they remain a title favorite.
