Other than OL and RB problems, look at the rushing defense of teams we have played...

Three in top 10!

Seattle #4
New England #8
Philidelphia #14
Miami #2
St. Louis #20

It is not going to be any easier for up coming games:

Buffalo #30
Minnesota #6
San Francisco #7
Green Bay #19
Atlanta #27
St. Louis #20
NY Jets #31
Seattle #4
Detroit #8
Chicago #3
San Francisco #7

Green Bay and Atlanta, we probably fall behind and abandon run... Not looking pretty.

Seems like a self fulfilling phrophecy. Since the Cards have not been able to run the ball the teams playing us show up as top rush defenders. Take away their stats against us and where do they stand (per game average?).

Just an observation, but - early in the season working with a small "sample-size" of games - how we do vs. a given run-defense in tha one game has a significant influence on what that defense's overall stats look like.

In other words - we could suck vs. StL's otherwise so-so defense in Week 5 and make them look All World for the cumulative five weeks.

The NFC West has the #1, #2, #5 and #9 ranked scoring defenses!

Over the next 6 games we play #1 SF, #6 Minn., #8 Atlanta and #9 STL. We get #1,#2 and #3 the last 4 weeks of the season and Detroit. Hopefully those teams will have some problems and won't be so stingy by the time we play them.

If these opponents pass 5-1 out of the goodness of their heart we have a better chance-

True... the outlook may change as the season progresses.

So far so good... I don't think we have given up any scoring turnovers, yet!
