Rush-Henrietta takes on Greece for the Section V softball title: Updates, score

Second-seeded Rush-Henrietta will try to win its second title in three season when the Royal Comets play No. 4 Greece Storm in the Section V Class AAA softball final Saturday morning at Monroe Community College.

Rush won the 2023 Class AA title. It's believed to be the program's first championship. Greece clinched its second straight final, falling to Fairport in the 2024 Class AAA title game.

In Thursday's semifinals, Rush-Henrietta beat No. 3 Fairport and Greece defeated top-seeded Padilla, the Rochester City Athletic Conference champion.
