Rondale Moore Leg Injury Video Surfaces After Vikings Players Pray for Fallen Teammate originally appeared on Athlon Sports.
The Minnesota Vikings faced the Houston Texans in the first game of their 2025 NFL preseason at U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis on Saturday with JJ McCarthy's return from a torn right meniscus expected to be the top story.
McCarthy showed the skills that made him a first round pick, while one of his expected top receiving targets, former Purdue University and Arizona Cardinals standout Rondale Moore, did not have such luck as he suffered what appeared to be a major injury to his left leg.
The Moore injury became the biggest news of the day as the man who missed last season due to injury once again found himself unable to help his teammates on the field.
Moore was carted off as Vikings players prayed and huddled around him in a scene that has become all too familiar for Minnesota fans.

"A few of the guys have walked to the sideline to kneel/pray for Rondale Moore," reporter Jason Harmon wrote as he shared a video of the scene on X.
The Vikings receiver placed a towel over his head and slammed a cart in frustration as he was taken off the field.
"Prayers up for Rondale Moore. Dude can't stay healthy. Keep grinding in rehab man," one fan wrote on X as they shared an overhead photo.
Video showed Moore dragged down by the sidelines as he held his left knee. The injury is expected to be of a serious nature.
Fans continued to share their thoughts on the Vikings wideout including one who remembered the promise his career showed with the Boilermakers in West Lafayette, Indiana.
The Vikings led 13-10 in the fourth quarter as coach Kevin O'Connell's defense intercepted former Florida Gators and Wisconsin Badgers quarterback Graham Mertz of the Texans, while fans wondered about the severity of Moore's injury.

Have to feel for Rondale Moore (@moore_rondale). Must be reliving the 2024 nightmare knee injury.
Here's a video of Moore slamming the cart repeatedly in frustration. He banged so hard that broadcasters could hear him. The Vikings WR left with a towel covering his face.

Damn.
Rondale Moore is hurt again. He was a phenomenal player at Purdue. Can't stay on the field in the NFL.
Very sad to see how his career turned out. Guy was squatting 600 pounds as a freshman. pic.twitter.com/Nw9eN0zhYN
