Roma to discuss with Paulo Dybala contract extension
Roma and Paulo Dybala are expected to meet in the coming weeks to discuss the player’s contractual situation.
As revealed by Corriere dello Sport, Dybala’s heavy contract is weighing down on Roma’s books. Therefore, the club must resolve this issue one way or another.
First off, the Argentine wants to know what Roma’s intentions are.
Secondly, Roma would have to open negotiations with the player’s agent to extend his current contract (which expires in 2026) for an additional year, thus spreading the large salary over a longer period of time and making it more sustainable for the club.
The newspaper writes that it is likely that Roma and Dybala’s entourage will meet near the end of the summer to settle this matter.
