Roma and Svilar reach agreement for new contract
Roma and Mile Svilar are bound to continue together after weeks of uncertainty over the player’s new contract.
As reported by Nicolò Schira, the renewal of the Serbian goalkeeper is now in the final stages and the signature could arrive in the next few days.
The agreement includes a new multi-year contract with a salary of 3.5 million euros per season, to which will be added bonuses linked to individual and team objectives.
The will of the player was decisive, who rejected concrete offers from Serie A, Premier League and Bundesliga clubs, choosing to continue his journey in Giallorossi.
After a season in which he established himself as a starter, earning the trust of fans and club, Svilar has become a fixed point of Roma’s new long-term project.
