Rod Graves on KDUS

Just heard the Graves show. Said after the press conference yesterday, as he left the podium, Bill Bidwill said to him, "what have you done for me lately?" Graves thought he would get today off, but no, that's not going to happen. He said we will continue to bring in quality veterans through June 1st.

Said he planned to talk to Frank Sanders this weekend, and that the door is still open for Frank to return.

LJ Shelton is a big part of our team, and would like to extend him, AND KVB.

On Suggs' workout: wasn't there, but scouts were. Not concerned about these workouts, used Emmitt's workouts as an example of how they can be misleading. Has watched Suggs through the years, and knows he can dominate. (paraphrased)

Also when asked about Thomas Jones' future he said that he hasn't talked with Thomas yet and wanted to make sure they both talked before he went public with anything.

Biggest news is that he will get together with Frank S and see if they can come to terms. Frank said that he has not closed the door on coming back to us. This is good news. It was also stated that one of the Bidwills personaly called JR to see what he is thinking. Who knows where that may go, lots of interested teams. JR would like to stay near the west coast and if thats a big deal he would eliminate many teams except us and 2 others.

Jerry Rice just signed that BS Contract with the Raiders. The Cards don't trade for players with those typse of contracts.
