I'm rewatching the original V from 1983....mini series, movie, and series.
A young Robert Englund had his breakout role in V...playing the sweet, passive, people pleasing alien called Willie.
Englund did a great job.
But how dafuq do you go from Willie to Freddie Kreuger??
I mean damn...talk about avoiding getting typecast..
That ain't just a 180 it's a 540...
Now,...awesome vision by the casting director to see the possibilities....Englund is obviously now a Horror genre icon, and it's easy to see him having a far less successful career had he not taken the role as Freddy...
