We've given up some young bats as well: Carlos Gonzalez, Didi Gregorius, Dansby Swanson. We've had some incompetent GM's in our history. It all started when we chose Josh Byrnes and let Rizzo go to WAS and then choosing Towers over Dipoto who was interim GM after Byrnes was canned. Imagine if we were able to keep Rizzo & Dipoto all these years, we'd have more than 1 WS title.
