Dolly Parton, considered by many to be the all-time queen of country music, and star of movies such as '9 to 5,' has died at age 80.

Driven by her Christian faith, Parton was one of the most generous philanthropists in country music. We lost a great one today, RIP.

She was always a great guest on the Tonight Show with Johnny Carson. Always telling him jokes or doing funny musical things.

She'll be dearly missed. We have family in Knoxville and have been to Dollywood several times. People back there were always telling stories of how Dolly had helped someone they knew and how she was so generous to those around her.

Playing the dumb blonde was part of her schtick, but in fact she was very smart and a shrewd businesswoman. A great loss.

I always thought of Dolly as a national treasure. Her rags-to-riches story is amazing. She had a full life and will be missed by all. RIP Dolly.
