The Cardinals' shift toward more of a run-oriented offense has gained unexpected statistical traction.

Kurt Warner's 5-yard scoring pass to Anquan Boldin against the Lions in Week 15 no longer counts as such.

The play now counts as a 5-yard run, the NFL determined during a routine review.

This wasn't the only statistical adjustment from the Cardinals' 31-24 victory. A few others:
  • Louis Delmas' interception return covered 101 yards, not 100.
  • Beanie Wells' fourth-quarter run covered 33 yards, not 34 yards.
  • Wells' fourth-quarter run for 3 yards with 2:48 remaining covered 4 yards.
As a result, Boldin has scored a rushing touchdown during a regular-season game for the first time. The Cardinals carried 27 times for 122 yards, not 26 for 117. Warner completed 22 of 36 passes for 228 yards and one touchdown, leaving him two scoring passes short of 100 for his Cardinals career.

Glad Davis is back close to full practice... he was playing well before getting injured.

Man, Morey had another concussion... not good for him! Not good at all.

That play was telegraphed. I knew the exact play call before the snap. I guess the Lions didnt watch gamefilm. Hopefully they run it to the right or start Boldin in the backfield next time or something.
