Ranking five worst NFL teams entering 2024 season: Panthers high on list, once-dominant AFC team sits at No. 1
Examining who could struggle in 2024

I will be severely disappointed if we're not "in the hunt" week 11 and beyond.I mean we're certainly a better team vs. 2023.
We lost... Hamilton? Am I remembering correctly? Was AH the only player of any note that's gone from last year? Wow.
And then all the new talent on both sides of the ball.
So it's really a question of will we struggle to win six or seven wins, or will we be a fringe playoff team?
Dallas, Pittsburgh and the Philly game doesn’t show potential on the field, hmmm.they said, we haven't seen the potential show on the field
4 of the 5 CBs are unproven. Our #1 WR hasn't played a down in the NFL. One of our starting DEs the same. Neither has our back-up RB or back-up TE.Dallas, Pittsburgh and the Philly game doesn’t show potential on the field, hmm.

IF they develop as expected - better than a 4 win team, which still is a buttom 5 team.so we are better, right![]()

If we aren't, Monti isn't doing anywhere near a good job.I will be severely disappointed if we're not "in the hunt" week 11 and beyond.
These guys have us at 16th easiest...middle of the road.We’re a very young team playing a top 10 schedule. At least that’s how PFF rates our schedule. Anything can happen, but I’m optimistic that we’ll continue to improve.
Starters lost from last season with the new starter.
Offense
#1 WR - Hollywood Brown -> MHJ
TE - Zach Ertz -> Trey McBride
LT/RT - D.J. Humphries/Paris Johnson -> Paris Johnson/Jonah Williams
LG - Wilkerson -> Brown/Adam
Defense
DL - L.J. Collier/Leki Fotu/Jonathan Ledbetter -> Darius Robinson/Justin Jones/Bilal Nicols
ILB - Krys Barnes -> Mack Wilson
CB - Wilson/Hamilton/Clark -> SMB/Max Melton/Garrett Williams
While not all these players are gone, their roles are reduced/changed if they are still here.
On paper there are pretty good upgrades in all areas with the exception of tackles which may be a scratch.Starters lost from last season with the new starter.
