I held on as long as I could. My list of grievances.
- The use of Jeremyiah Love is stupid. End stop. To take a player at 3 overall and not use him in the most critical moments of games, red zone/2min/3rd down is coaching malpractice. IDC if he is young...you need your best talent on the field in the most critical moments of games. This is the first strike against MLF.
- I get MLF didn't draft MHJ and he wants to manage games and run his offense as he sees fit. You can't tell me using Higgins or Long is better than having MHJ on the field. It's being irrationally stubborn and not adjusting to your personnel.
- fudge you Monti for making me watch Wydett Williams play 90%+ snaps in week 3 of an NFL season.
- Regardless of what other coaches in the NFL think of Rallis's scheme, he and the other defensive coaches can't seem to teach it. I can tolerate getting outtalented, but all of these busted coverages are just a sign that the players don't understand and can't execute the scheme regardless of how long they have been in it.
- Only Rallis would have such tremendous success in a game applying pressure on the opposing QB only to hardly ever do it. The inability for his soft zone scheme to limit explosive plays and him continuing to run it is just a testament to lack of self awareness.
- I don't want to hear people complaining about Brissett's increased contract when Baron Browning has a 9 mil cap hit to do literally nothing every week.
- Paris Johnson. Outside of the knee deep year, his early career is very similar to DJ Humphries. His contract situation moving forward will be very interesting. I don't know how much you can commit as a team to a guy who has been placed of season ending IR for three seasons in a row. How much will him and his agent want to consider that in their asking price? Crazy situation for a #6 overall pick.
- Has there been a worse top 5 draft pick run than Paris Johnson, Marvin Harrison Jr and Jeremyiah Love? fudge you Monti.
