This is probably the wrong place to say this but I can't help but wonder how many people like John Prine will die from this disease because our government failed us - miserably and repeatedly.
I been thinking lately about the people I meet.
The carwash on the corner and the hole in the street.
The way my ankles hurt with shoes on my feet.
And I'm wondering if I'm gonna see tomorrow.
RIP John Prine and wonder no more.

Last night the late John Prine was awarded artist of the year at the Americana Honors and Awards.
