For thick cuts of meat do you ever sear the outside and then place the cast iron pan and the meat in the oven? Works fantastically. I heat the oven to 275 to cook it nice and slow to 135.

After I get through this batch of one inch ribeyes, I'm going to give that a try as well.

Also, my wife found some ghee at Sprouts so I'm ready for Sunday Funday steak dinner!

$5 Stir Fry packages from Albertsons

Know I need to learn how to clean and cook white rice.

Try basmati rice sometime with stir fry. We prefer it over the standard white rice.

Thanks for the tip @puckhead

Dang it I had the use of now right the first time but I changed it for some odd reason.

Just don't let @Brian in Mesa see your mistake and you'll be fine. ;)

I also put a little chicken or beef base (depending on the main protein) in with the rice's water to bump up the flavor a bit.

Have you ever noticed the spell check sorta turns off and on at times? One moment it shows a word is misspelled but then the function often goes away.

Ironically if I post a word misspelled and I go back to edit, it will show that the word is misspelled and allow me to correct it.
