Preseason

I think not playing our starters enough in preseason was as much as any reason for the failure yesterday. The team was flying for 12 min. Then went soft. Conditioning horrible. I believe we can bounce back but I think lesson learned when it comes to playing in preseason.

everyone looked extremely sweaty, far more than normal. Iupati was fighting to keep sweat out of his eyes.

I noticed it too. Plus we were in a dome which is like home for us. Imagine if the game was outdoors. All game I was thinking soft....freaking Bethel...soft...

Damned if you do, damned if you don't. If you start your starters and someone gets hurt and out for the year, everyone will question why you played them. If you don't and your team plays the way our did they say we should have played them more.
