He shot 40% over his 3 years in college. In his last year in college he shot 44% from 3. I don't think he'll continue shooting 50% but I could definitely see him shooting 40% or better going forward.

He's really up and down. It's odd because he doesn't appear streaky like Suns of the past but either he's on or really off. He brings effort every night though so you can't knock him too much but if his shot isn't falling, he needs to stop shooting. When it is falling though he shouldn't force it either. What has been the most impressive with the shooting today is the shear number of open threes they have created. That is why they have been able to get so many up and also why they are making a high percentage.

I think we are seeing what the Suns would like to do to open up the court.

Cam Johnson's shot is so nice. I don't care if he was taken early, he's a good fit for this team. He reminds me of some of the picks in the 90's like Finley and Wes Person. A knock down shooter who knows his role and just does it. It would have been nice to get him later for salary reasons but I do see why James Jones wanted him. Hopefully he's able to add more to his game with time but even if he doesn't, shooters always get minutes.

After watching Diallo I am beginning to understand why the Pelicans cut him loose. The hustle is there... not much else.
