This could be bad. I mean epically bad. In a couple of those scenes the Predator seemed to "human" in it's movements.

The predator in the trailer looks horrible. It’s a down grade visually from the original movie. I was joking at work this morning that I watched Buckaroo Bonzai over the weekend and the 8th dimension aliens in it looked better than this and it came out in 84. Hopefully they can still tweak the model a bit.

First half of this was flat out great. Second half fell off a little but overall a pretty good sci fi action flick and solid entry into the Predator cannon. Was really impressed with the how much I dug into the Predator and Android characters in the first half before it became just a series of big action set pieces in the second half.

I’ll say this for Trachtenberg… he puts every dollar on the screen. The movie has a scope and scale that feels really big, yet grounded/realistic with the FX mixed in really well.

Not quite as good as Prey, but probably better than any other Predator movie since the OG.

I seen the trailer was like NOPE. Then all the reviews started coming out and they were overwhelmingly positive it’s getting an 85/95 on RT. So I checked it out and was very entertained.

The first 20 minutes were spectacular. The design of the dad is cool af. The reason the predator is a juvenile that’s why he looks like that.

I’ll be buying it even if comes out on streaming. I think it’s either 2 or 3 in the overall standings the original is 1 but then it’s either this or the Adrian Brody Predator for me
