Sanders can't win, but he's too stubborn to recognize that. Maybe enough of his supporters will wise up that the money will start to dry out.

Kirsten Gillibrand Drops Out of Democratic Presidential Race
    Source: New York Times

Senator Kirsten Gillibrand of New York, who presented herself in the presidential race as a champion of women and families, said Wednesday that she was withdrawing from the Democratic primary after failing to qualify for a third debate next month — a development she described as fatal to her candidacy.

Ms. Gillibrand said in an interview that she would endorse another candidate in the primary but had not yet picked a favorite. Though she stopped short of saying she would endorse a woman, Ms. Gillibrand, who has made electing women to Congress a personal cause, said the next president had to be capable of uniting the country and suggested that a woman might be best suited for the job.

“I think that women have a unique ability to bring people together and heal this country,” Ms. Gillibrand said, adding, “I think a woman nominee would be inspiring and exciting.”

But she added: “I will support whoever the nominee is, and I will do whatever it takes to beat Trump.”

Gillibrand commented that Democrats just didn't want a "Me Too" candidate. No, Felicia..... They just didn't like you.

Why do they need to do damage to their own collective cause? Just a stark reminder that most politicians are just in it for themselves.

I think this a case of, "Oh please, Brer Fox! Whatever you do, please don't throw me in the briar patch!"

A different perspective: Don't listen to anything the Trump campaign has to say. Rather, make up your own mind and go from there.

Agreed I love Kamala but they have to put up the candidate with the best chance of beating Trump this time. It can't be about who someone says they fear the most, who has the best this or that. IMO it has to be as clear as we picked the person we believe can beat Trump, period.

It's getting a bit scary IMO, Biden apparently made yet another gaffe by conflating 2 or even 3 different stories about giving a medal to a war hero, apparently the basics of the story were true but he's been contradicting himself on it in recent events and they've figured out he's combining 2 or even 3 stories. So you get the if he's not lying, what is going on situation. But the polls continue to say he's the guy with the best shot. It looks like it will be him or Warren.

Of the 2 I'm frankly more comfortable with Warren right now and I'm someone who wrote her off months ago over the Pocahontas stuff.

Maybe Joe Biden's False War Story Was a Lie. Or Maybe It Was Something Worse.
