Gotta do something about those numbers with Latinx and Black voters.

He would need to get the Dream Team of a cabinet, though. He needs help with the big stuff like foreign diplomacy, defense, etc.

yeah... he's in a bad spot there.

which is too bad because I think he can be Obama-esque. His story is inspiring as his demeanor and hopeful vision of the future which talks big picture but also appeals to the little guy and gal in the country.

I don't know if there's anything he can do - my impression is that their opposition is based in homophobia.

He’s gotta be able to beat Trump. Not confident he can.

Right. I hate that that’s gotta be our mantra. But we gotta keep our eye on the prize. As crazy as this is to type, we can’t get distracted by who would be the best president. We have to choose who will make it least likely trump is still president.

Is it too much to hope that Sanders makes an early exit from this process?

Would be best if 17/20 candidates, including Bernie, bow out right now

Yeah those are the kinds of things that become a problem. It also IMO defines the difference between Trump cultists and the rest of us. I know several people who love Bernie that are now asking for him to step up and pay those people a fair wage or lose their support. Trumpers would never do that.

But yes I do hope if the slide from Bernie continues, he gets out earlier this time. And I hope he tries to steer his supporters to another Democrat.

This feels different than last time. I will not support him this time either. Mainly because of the Bernie or bust crowd. I want Trump gone period. I am going to cast my vote for the person who has the best chance. Nothing else matters this next election IMO. I hope Bernie bows out gracefully but I seriously doubt it.
