I can't say I fully supported Bernie in '16, but I did feel his presence and value to the process in a good way. But we are now at a different point in time and he needs to back away. He needs to allow the younger, more relatable and more electable talent to surface...
This guy is such a dope.
Sounds like he uses us as a prop.
What do you think of Pete Buttigieg?
His response, btw:
I like him a lot also, but agree that he needs one more cycle of seasoning.
as for the gay thing... I tend to agree with you that maybe it hurts him, but to be honest, not as much as being black, IMO. And he could really make the issue one that Americans can truly think about. I mean, if the GOP were to bang against gay rights (which they definitely would), who better to make an equal rights argument than him, standing on stage opposite one of those bigots and asking WHY DO YOU DESERVE MORE RIGHTS THAN I DO?
I mean, that's a takedown moment for the ages... especially coming from a guy who is very personable, is a christian AND has military experience and seems genuine.
If the country wasn't willing to elect a woman as president, they're a long way from electing an openly gay man.
there's just no way in hell the Democrats run two white guys on the ticket.
Harris/Buttgeig would be a solid back-up to Biden/Harris.
disagree. I think the country is much more racist/mysoginist than homophobic.
Rosario Dawson confirmed that she’s dating Booker. The guy has already won.
Beto is my guy
Starbucks was universally hated by most of the military, or at least the right wingers.
Loved me some Green Beans over at Victory Base Complex, Iraq.
I'm against a California or New Jersey Democrat because most of the country is.
