The Cap hit would be unacceptable. I’m old enough to remember when the owners voted on how to handle bonus money and not setting up a way to make it trade-able. The theory was this system would discourage teams from paying huge bonuses. Obviously when a cheap team, like the Cards, pays this bonus the intension has failed.I don't know if the Cards want to trade Kyler at the deadline.
But if you did want to trade him at the deadline you'd make a big deal out of a nothing injury, but still have him practicing so people know it's not serious and tell everyone he's still the starter when healthy.
