Poll: Will there be a QB controversy after Week 7

Will Brissett make a legit case to be starter?

this season is all i take into consideration - idc if brissett was a sex worker before he came here - i don't care what his credit history was and idc how he's played in other situations

my eyes tell me if you can give brissett a very small amount of time he can get you downfield quickly and efficiently - you won't hear mcbride say it but his stats aren't afraid to speak their mind

and wow - zay jones actually isn't catatonic after all - that's wild - petzing is going condomless now - no longer concerned about picking up a venereal turnover

also - we're finding out it's not just kyler as it concerns marvin - doesn't matter who's throwing it he might cough it up - i guess there's some kyler vindication there if you really dig

This season
2-3 with Kyler
0-2 without

I'd rather tank at this point, so I'd prefer JB at this point

I'm ready to move on. We're not winning with Kyler or JB.

Tanking would be great if we didn't have to watch our top pick sit on pup to start each season and then underperform when playing. I don't trust this GM to get a high pick qb right

Is Kyler still our leading rusher after 7 weeks with him not even playing 2 games and running less frequently than the past? Just pathetic offense all around

Pretty sure JG would not be very fired up about tanking Chris.

Don't you think his job is on the line these last 10 games?

We have a QB controversy between 2 guys who will likely lead us to a 4-13 record no matter who starts. Awesome.

At least with Brissett I get to see a competent NFL passing offense. Might as well see that since neither is likely to win.
This is the biggest reason I've been so harsh on Kyler today. This has been the best two game stretch of Cardinals offense since Kyler's high ankle sprain against the Packers in 2021.

Look at Kyler's game logs in 2024, 2023, 2022. You can't find a better consecutive two game passing performance than what Jacoby just did. Not to mention he did it against the best teams on our schedule.

Its nice to be reminded what a normal offense looks like, where getting a first down doesn't feel like the hardest thing in the world.

Brissett had almost won me over but two throws changed my mind, especially the Harrison miss. When you overthrow an open receiver it’s usually adrenaline, which is difficult to control. When your throw falls that short, I have to label it a choke. That’s why such a knowledgeable QB is still a backup. I do think he fits this offense better and should serve as a guide for the draft if they retain the coaches.

I don't know if the Cards want to trade Kyler at the deadline.

But if you did want to trade him at the deadline you'd make a big deal out of a nothing injury, but still have him practicing so people know it's not serious and tell everyone he's still the starter when healthy.

The only controversy would be if Kyler started.

The JB offense is far better to watch.

I do not want to see another minute of Kyler missing all the guys JB is hitting while he throws a 3 yard check down from 9 yards behind the LOS.

In fact, if Kyler starts again I won't be watching. My days of watching Kyler play football are over.
