On Thursday the Suns wrap up their two game home stand when the Pistons visit.

Pistons are 4-17 and have lost their last seven games including a loss to the Trail Blazers on Tuesday.

They are on a five game road trip with Phoenix as their last stop.

Suns are 18-3 and tied a record 17 game winning streak with a win over the Warriors. Needless to say, a win over the Pistons would set a new record.

On Friday the Suns play at the Warriors on the second night of back-to-back games.

The game will be televised on Bally Sports Arizona.

Start time will be 7:00 p.m. Arizona time.

If they are willing to sit him for most of the Warrior game then there is not a snow balls chance in hell that he plays vs Detroit, even if he tells them he feels 100%. IMO, he is out at least until the Boston game, but no more than 2 weeks. It was reassuring to see him on the sideline in the 2nd half, cheering on the team and not noticeably limping.

Don’t need Booker I can see him missing some real time. These games are fun but we need to be healthy come playoffs

I hope Cam Johnson is okay after going over some tweets from the Warriors game.

He also went down HARD on his hip on one foul when he went to the basket and the warriors pushed Ayton into Cam while in the air, undercutting him.

That was a real hard fall Cam Johnson took. I was glad to see him get up. It's something to keep an eye on.

He went down hard but in trying to make it look like a good gesture he was immediately offered help up by Green I think it was

When players fall hard like that it's better they stay down until they are ready to get up at their own speed.

Blake Griffin is with the Nets. He was recently removed from their rotation.

Griffin played well for the Nets initially last year. So well, that many came to believe he was tanking it with Detroit. Now he has regressed. It would be interesting to know what is really going on with that guy.

My best guess is the addition of LaMarcus Aldridge.

Classic trap game. Hopefully, Phoenix can stay focused and take care of business and not play down to Detroit's level.
Every game after a win streak like this is a trap game. Every team in the NBA will be head hunting the Suns as well until the streak is over.

This is the beauty of the Suns systematic approach to playing offense and defense.

They count on execution to win games not emotion.

Disappointing but absolutely the right decision. My biggest fear/worry now is the added load this puts on CP3. Chris can absolutely be the man for one game and play extended minutes, but over 3-5 games? I dunno...

This will be a big opportunity for Laundry Shamet and Cam Johnson to take a step forward. Of course it's an opportunity for Cam Payne and Elfrid Payton as well. I'm not about the status of Abdel Nader. He has been out for awhile.

Also I wouldn't be surprised to see the Suns give Ish Wainright a look at the forward position.

Good news about Cam Johnson.

James Jones on Arizona Sports said Cam Johnson was just cramping up last night.

With the Suns missing Nader, Booker, Kaminsky and Saric (plus an open roster spot) every remaining active player on the roster becomes that more valuable.
