The Suns open a seven game home stand starting with the Pistons (Friday) 2/5, Celtics (Sunday) 2/7, Cavaliers (Monday) 2/8, Bucks (Wednesday) 2/10, 76ers (Saturday) 2/13, Magic (Sunday) 2/14 and Nets (Tuesday) 2/16.

Pistons are 5-16 after losing to the Jazz 117-105 on Tuesday. Their game with the Nuggets the day prior was postponed.

As a lot of fans recall the Suns loss at the Pistons in overtime January 8th started a run of poor play by the team. The Suns were 6-2 before that loss.

Suns are 11-9 after their 123-101 loss to the Pelicans on Wednesday.

The game will be televised on FSAZ.

Start time is listed at 7 p.m. Arizona time.

I'm still waiting for the injury report but the status of Jae Crowder is unknown reportedly due to some tightness in his right foot.

Suns can't seem to catch a break.

Jae Crowder is DOUBTFUL.

Cam Payne and Dario Saric are OUT.

Abdel Nader is QUESTIONABLE.

It's interesting to note that Dario Saric is now listed out due to a left ankle sprain.

It's beginning to feel that way. Talk about some bad luck.
If he’s off the COVID list why list him as out and say he’s injured? How did he get injured? He hasn’t been playing for weeks. Sounds like an excuse, but why is one needed at all at this point?

He was involved in shooting drills and likely he was working out with training staff. My guess it's some bad luck and he came down wrong.

Making things worse, the Suns may be without Crowder as well.

Maybe if we could swap legs between Saric and Payne we would have one healthy player. ;)

Thinking about it more, we could swap legs with Crowder and Nader and get another healthy player. :D

Wasn't Saric dealing with (and playing with) a sore ankle before he went out for Covid protocols? Or was that just Payne that played a few games with a sprain before sitting out because of it?

Saric had the ankle pre-Covid. Came back for I think a game and then out again.

I'm losing track of the feet and the legs about right now but I think it was Cam Payne who was out previously with a sprained ankle.

I don't think Payne was out for health and safety protocols.

Saric was out with health and safety protocols.

Saric was out with health and safety protocols.
I also thought it was Payne that had ankle issues.

I looked it up. Payne missed the Pacers and Wizards game on January 9th and 11th respectively due to a reported sprained ankle.

He then played four games before going out again.

Payne only scored two points combined in the last two games he played (against Denver) so the ankle could have been bothering him before he went out again.

Man, Saric has missed 9 straight? And how many to start the season? That’s been a killer.

I was just looking at it. Saric missed three games to start the season and played only seven games all season.

I’m shocked he’s played that many games! I have like zero mental images of his playing this year.

Saric sprained his ankle while trying to get ready to play.

At least we get to see Cam Payne and Dario Saric put up some shots.
