I posted YTD. Which is bottom 8 in save percentage and #5 in most blown saves.

When you are talking about closers specifically, counting an extra inning save isnt the closer. You set the parameters of the discussion

Bottom line, a 71% Save % is pretty damn respectable.
My original post referenced the variety of dudes we have that are solid to better than solid MLB pitchers, but none of them have ever been asked to be a full time closer, other than Puk for a brief window of time in 2023.
Sewald is our closer and will be relied upon as such as the season wears on.
Until then, rocking a league leading win% over their past 30 games and a 71% Save % since July 1st works for me… and I’d imagine most fans!

They played their hearts out. This team has no quit even after 2 crucial games the day before and then the travel back home. I don't consider it a letdown. We are not going to win every game.
