Although the Pittsburgh Steelers defense left fans scratching their heads, the offensive output was a welcome sight after years of struggling to put points on the board.

From some of Pittsburgh's best pass catchers to the developing offensive line, here’s a look at the top 10 performers on the Steelers offense in the Week 1 victory over the Jets, with grades provided by PFF.

  1. WR Ben Skowronek — 79.0
  2. WR D.K. Metcalf — 75.6
  3. TE Pat Freiermuth — 71.7
  4. RB Jaylen Warren — 71.0
  5. WR Calvin Austin III — 66.4
  6. TE Jonnu Smith — 65.5
  7. G Mason McCormick — 63.6
  8. TE Darnell Washington — 59.7
  9. C Zach Frazier — 57.6
  10. OT Troy Fautanu — 56.2

Despite carrying the Pittsburgh Steelers offense with four passing touchdowns, Aaron Rodgers received one of the worst grades among starters with 54.5 — just four players shy of cracking the top 10.

Hopefully Rodgers can make some believers out of PFF with a strong performance in the Steelers’ home opener versus the Seattle Seahawks in Week 2 — another opportunity for the re-tooled offense to prove their mettle early in the 2025 regular season.
