This happens time and time again. I wonder if there’s a breakdown somewhere of Ayton’s shooting percentage by quarter over the course of the season.
Took a little bit of finagling on the NBA.com stats website but here it is for the 21/22 season. EDIT - These are playoff numbers, not regular season.

Table headers don't work well here with merged cells but each shot section (excluded all the 3 point data) shows the FGM, FGA and FG%

I didn't expect such a stark difference, to be honest.

CORRECTION - The numbers I posted above are the numbers for the 21/22 playoffs (the 3pt fields that I excluded seemed way off which clued me in to this being incorrect. Sorry about that, here's the regular season numbers.

Hard to find a trend here, except less shot attempts overall as the game progresses.

I didn’t see anything physically to suggest Booker wasn’t moving around at 95+% he just didn’t shoot it well. He rebounded and hit a lot of open shooters plus Ayton.

I love he has evolved to the point he just switches to a passer when his shot isn't there. It's what Payne needs to do now.

Gotcha. But those post-season numbers line up for me.

Yup. Great evolution of Booker’s game.
Book easily could’ve had a triple double last night. He missed shots at the end he normally makes. Team lost a little bit of mojo after never really being tested. We’ll come out with that same purpose in game 2 hopefully.
