Pelicans @ Suns Friday game thread 2-25-2022

Suns return home for four games starting with the Pelicans on Friday.

It will be the second night of back-to back games for Phoenix after winning at OKC on Thursday.

Pelicans are 23-36 but they added guard CJ McCollum before the trade deadline.

Suns are 49-10 and have won eight straight games.

The game will be televised on Bally Sports Arizona.

Start time is scheduled for 7 p.m. Arizona time.

It looks like Kira Lewis Jr., Larry Nance Jr. and Zion Williams are OUT for the Pelicans per injury report.

Need another streak to maintain that buffer. I am glad we went to the games we did to see a healthy team. Taking the family next week to a game and CP3 will be missed but hoping the team settles into a rotation by then without CP3.

good grief. Why do injuries seem to happen all at the same position? Earlier in the year, it was all the big men. Now it's all the point guards.

Suns really need to add someone even if it's a 10-day contract. Suns don't need anyone fancy. Just someone who can run the offense and not turn the ball over.

Anything would help at this point. Another competent pg would be great.
I think D Book will really step up until Cam P and Holiday can get healthy.
And its not like CP3 is dead he's gonna be in everyones ears.

Just run Book at the point, with Elf as the backup and let Mikal and Shamet be the 2s. That is better than trying to add some other dude in the mix.

I'm sure the Suns will do something like this but why take a chance. They could easily add someome on a 10-day contract as insurance even if they don't play.
