My son and I signed up again. At my age, health and weight I will be walking but will meet up with him when I finally finish.

That's impressive! Always admire those with the extra gear.

Two years ago a guy passed me and he had one leg. Talk about being in awe.

I had open bilateral inguinal hernia surgery last Friday and start running again in about a week and won't be able to touch a barbell for much longer, so the I will be doing a lot of running and body weight movements with the vest. The run will be at the perfect time in my recovery!

Okay, friends! Who was out there for the virtual run today? We did the 4.2, then went out with our daughter for the kids' run. Had lunch and a Guinness at Rula Bula.

We did ours on the Horton Creek trail near payson. Ran into another couple that had done the same

Another. Friend and former coworker. His son’s name is Luke (he’s obviously a huge SW fan).

Wow! I'm definitely envious of that. I love that trail.

I made a 4.2 mile strava route in my neighborhood last year, so I ran that again this year. Last year someone in my neighborhood marked a route in chalk on our neighborhood trail, but I didn't see anything this year. I saw another guy out there in a Pat's Run shirt though and we gave each other a wave.

Hopefully we can all get back to the Tempe race next year. That's one of my favorite spring events.

It was our first time. Dogs loved it as well.

Glad you enjoyed it. Its a great trail all around IMO and also a great trail to bring friends to who have bad knees as its a good hike without a lot of elevation change. I always refill my waters at the spring before coming back down.
