Agreed but that is where the "Snakes" thing started.

I am sure Keim makes promises and then gets checked by Michael

I'll miss him. I don't really understand the hate he's gotten. It'll be many a year before we see someone play as well as him, and generally function with class off the field.

What does that have to do with getting ragged on when playing poorly?

was surprised how sentimental he was about leaving. Appreciated that. I've never had to make multimillion dollar decisions based on sunshine but its cool that leaving the desert is weighing on him even if he's going to make millions more in Minnesota

And might have needed time to reflect. I thought it was classy regardless of when he decided to put it out to the world.

Kudos to him. If you find fault with what he said, I find fault with you. 100% class right there. Good luck to him. Hopefully he retires a Cardinal.

He was ragged on when playing great for not being a good tackler.

I don't remember people ragging on Larry much last year when he was playing terrible.

If you don’t see the difference between the two let me explain:

PP wasn’t just “not a good tackler” he was a low-to-sometimes-no effort tackler. I never saw Fitz shy away from any effort on the field. He just got old.

yep this. Many times on film you could see PP wouldn’t even try to make a tackle which if he had could have stopped a big play.

    It was a good read.

As for the delay in releasing it: He really took his time writing it...or it was just another thing he didn't want to tackle... ;)
