Bears continue flirtation with Indiana move, welcome state's bill to create stadium authority
Indiana Gov. Mike Braun said the state is "working hard" to lure the Bears in his State of the State address this week.
Dropped my kid off at college in the northern half of the state and took him to the grocery to restock his dorm room after the holidays. Pretty much all the sports gear was IU and Bears. Once you get 40-50 miles north of Indy, it's pretty much all Chicago sports, at least pro-wise.

This would really stink for Bears fans. I have only been to Chicago once but it seemed like it was in the perfect location.
Bears in Indiana worse that Cardinals in Westside.

If the roof was shaped like the asymmetrical C on the logo then that would be cool. I still wouldn’t like them, but at least their roof would be neat-o.
They are proposing leveling the entire city and starting over.

I don't understand the concept of not keeping stadiums in downtown areas near cool things to do. I hate suburban stadiums. Just bulldoze soldier field and rebuild it there. make them play in St. Louis or Milwaukee while they wait.
When they did the renovation of Soldier Field 20 years ago the Bears played at the University of Illinois - two hours south of Soldier Field
yeah I remember that too. hard to believe it's already been that long. I don't go to NFL games very often, so this won't impact me much if at all. the only place in Chicago I want to visit is Wrigley. kind of upset I haven't been yet. had a chance and didn't take advantage when I could have.
