I would like a specialist returner, I think it's our weakest ST area.

Although we did just sign this dude apparently. Ran a 4.27 coming out, although that was 3 years ago.

Nice I did not know we picked up Khalfreak. He's small but he had a big run against us in I think a preseason game for Denver. He ran a 10.22 100m in HS

It makes sense to get a KOR because Chase was the lead guy doing that and hes' now our #1 RB. You could just move Andy or Kirk back there but Khal has jets. Interesting guy he's so fast but he never broke one for a TD at Cal. As those highlights show he's not just a sprinter he can and will run with some force. I'm nervous about him possibly fumbling the NFL is a different beast, but he's very fast. With so many KO's going through the endzone now anyways what you want is a guy who can get a hole and go and he can.

I don't think he's played in a regular season NFL game yet, he's just so small he's had a tough time breaking through.

I just can’t see it. Imo he’s a more impactful player on that team than Cooper. Plus Jerry won’t get rid of any of his toys.

Not a chance, Jimmy G just keeps winning in SF. If I’m not mistaken he’s still never lost 2 games in a row & Kirk is the most overhyped QB in the NFL imo.

My thought process is Cooper has already been paid (20m/year) and Lamb was just drafted in the 1st round (obviously talented).

There is no way they can pay Gallup when he becomes a free agent (2022) and nothing really to play for this year. Basically, they would get one more year with him in 2021 or trade him this year/next year or lose him for nothing.

Seems possible.

He looks good in the videos, he has a good change of direction and ability to find holes, but as you say the NFL is a different beast.

As you said it's quite rare now with so many going through the EZ. Chase has 8 in 7 games this year and 4 of those came in 1 game vs the Lions.

Patterson has been used at running back. Looking for a guy for the 3rd and 2? He can do that and be a returner. That being said I don’t think the Bears are shopping him.

not as much anymore but I've been a Cal football follower for ages because of where I live. Khal came in after Jahvid Best who was also a HS sprinter and was just amazing at Cal. Best was an NFL star too the problem is he could not stay healthy, concussions ended his career. Last I heard he was running in the Olympics for St Lucia. Khal came in with the hope he'd be another Best but didn't pan out that way at Cal.

he's VERY fast, but not as fast on the football field as you'd expect from his track times.

Nice pickup if we need a KOR he could be the guy
